Just pick a keyword with monthly searches of more then 3000 and with search results pages of less then 2500,000. Number of pages will increase according to your increased SEO knowledge with the passage of time.

Now once you have picked a keyword, you need to place it in that title of your article. Try to insert some number in your article title because according to my experience these type of articles rank more high in Google. For example the title could be 5 surefire tips to educate your son or daughter properly or if it is relevant to health and fitness niche, then it can be like 5 ways to loose weight.
Tip no 3.
Tips no 3 is a little tough for peoples with zero SEO experience. Now once you have done your keyword research and have prepared a catchy title, its time to fill in your content with the targeted keyword. You have to place the picked keyword at least 5-14 times in a 500 words article or in other word you the keyword density should be between 2% - 3%.
